Redman Hardy Plants

 

We are a family run nursery based in Essex specialising in Hardy Herbaceous Perennials. We have been growing quality plants for three generations.

We grow a large selection of good quality perennials from traditional cottage gardens plants to new and exciting varieties for both sunny and shady spots, front of border and back of border situations in the garden. More recently we have specialised in Salvias and continually adding to our collection.

The plants are grown by us in our UK nursery and many have been trialed by us in our own garden. We consider our range to be ‘good performers’ and ‘garden worthy’. Most of the plants start life in a tunnel and then in order to toughen them up they are moved outside. All of the plants are grown with enough space outside to produce strong healthy specimens that you will be pleased to plant in your garden.

We attend a range of quality plant fairs and the large RHS shows through out the horticultural year. We find the buying public at these events are very pleased to purchase from us, many are repeat customers now. Over the last three years we have been displaying our Salvia Collection in the RHS Floral Marquee where we have been awarded Silver and Silver Gilt medals.
