Penstemon 'Kay Burton'. From the Pensham stable but rarely offered for sale. A strong and vigourous grower. The nearest to orange in penstemons. A beautiful and unique colour. Delicate veining in the throat. Colour is better than my picture appears. Sells instantly when in flower at Fairs.
Penstemon can flower for up to six months of the year. They are best grown in a sunny or partially shady spot in the border, on a moister garden soil but will tolerate drought. Penstemon are resistant to slugs and other pests and attractive to bees. Hardy Perennial.
