Cimicifuga atropurpurea. This outstanding and majestic hardy perennial forms large, loose clumps of dark, bronze foilage. It is excellent in partial shade on a soil that hold some moisture in the summer. Its flowers appear in Autumn as long spires made up of tiny white flowers with the most delicate of pink blush. Gorgeous scent. Height 6ft.
