Penstemon 'Alice Hindley' AGM (3 for £10)

Penstemon 'Alice Hindley' AGM. A very pretty penstemon with pale bluish/lilac flowers with a white throat. A fairly tall variety standing proud at 4ft with large flowers adorning it.

Flowers from mid July. Still in flower at Christmas in our border.

Penstemon can flower for up to six months of the year. They are best grown in a sunny or partially shady spot in the border, on a moister garden soil but will tolerate drought. Penstemon are resistant to slugs and other pests and attractive to bees. Hardy Perennial.
